This fan-favorite February event is open to all local artists, not just members of AFAF, and features cash awards for both 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional artwork. Winners are chosen by popular vote of visitors to the gallery throughout the month, so exhibiting artists are known to submit some of their best work. Family and friends are encouraged to support their favorites!
Our 15th annual People’s Choice exhibit, “A Hint of Red – the Color of Love,” invited artists to explore the focal point, the heartbeat or the hidden emotion tucked within the imagery.
To participate in this show artists must review the People’s Choice Prospectus and submit a signed and completed Entry/Inventory Form. Participants may showcase up to two items of any medium in each of the two categories (2D and 3D).
As you can imagine with the theme “A Hint of Red,” AFAF’s February 2026 People’s Choice exhibit presented a bold and stunning effect in the bright West Gallery of the Antioch Art Center. Visitors from near and far stepped in to experience the “Red” and to choose their favorites, prompting lively family discussion. Thank you to all of our exhibitors, and congratulations to the award winners!
