Featured Artist Suki Michelle Clark

After a childhood consumed by dedicated doodling and many decades of creative expression, Suki Michelle Clark has yet to become loyal to a particular style.  She has had artistic adventures with many types of media from pencil to paint and from polymer clay to Procreate, a digital painting software.  Her latest obsession is the art of tissue decoupage.

Suki is often surprised by the direction a piece may take, be it abstract, realistic, or somewhere in between.  In all cases, she works impulsively with underlying intent, surrendering to the image as it emerges on its own terms.

Suki studied drawing and painting at Kansas City Art Institute, earning a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts.  She also enjoys a creative outlet in the literary arts having won First Place in both the Women on Writing Flash Fiction Competition and the Faulkner Literary Competition, Poetry Division. She is currently illustrating a selection of her written work.
