Maureen Holcomb is a native of Lake Villa, Illinois. She was introduced to the beautiful art of watercolor through teacher Carol Fink Sackschewsky more than 20 years ago and has honed her skills in the medium ever since. Maureen studied under the direction of renowned artist David Becker and is currently a member of the Lakes Region Watercolor Guild and the Antioch Fine Arts Foundation. An avid painter, she regularly attends workshops to train and to celebrate with other watercolor artists.
Maureen’s exceptional attention to detail and vibrant use of color make her watercolor paintings truly captivating. Her artwork has been acquired and recognized nationally as well as throughout the greater Lake County area.
