In recent years botanical art has become Beverly’s main focus. Taking classes at the Chicago Botanic Garden expanded her interest in botany and sharpened her observation of natural areas near her home. As part of the Reed-Turner Botanical Artists of Long Grove, Beverly has helped produce juried shows, plein air events and workshops. She also enjoys teaching youth art at Volo Bog and botanical art at the Deer Path Art League.
As a relatively new member of the AFAF, Beverly has enjoyed meeting a lively group of artists, taking part in monthly exhibits and helping with gallery responsibilities.
