Springtime features a special invitational exhibit in collaboration with our friends at the Garden Club of Antioch. AFAF’s “Bursting Into Life and Blooms” themed art exhibit shares the gallery with a very special form of art – live plants and floral arrangements. Local art and nature lovers are invited to participate in either show, or in both! Floral arrangements are changed out each week for a fresh new perspective to the venue.
For the Art Exhibit: Local artists are invited to exhibit up to three pieces of original artwork in any medium. Artwork should celebrate the energy of spring and the season of rebirth. Interpretations may include classic floral blooms, newborn birds and animals, or the abstract “bursting into life” concepts of awakening, growth and transition.
To participate, artists must review the Bursting Into Life / Blooms Prospectus and submit a completed Entry Form.
For the Floral Exhibits: Arrangements may be dropped off on Wednesday or Thursday afternoon. There is no cost to participate. For details review the Plant Exhibitor Guidelines and complete a short label for your floral arrangement(s).
