Barbara has been a representational painter in oil and acrylic for 35 years, and she also teaches two drawing and painting classes weekly on her farm in Antioch. Her favorite subjects are landscape, still life, floral and birds/wildlife. She has traveled to New England, Colorado, Canada, Michigan and Florida for plein air retreats and studies with her favorite workshop teachers several times a year. She loves art history and did many study copies of historic paintings at the Milwauke Art Museum. Married to Rolf for 42 years, she also enjoys training horses, riding motorcycles and learning new things.
