Beginning Color Pencil – 4 Part Class – Tuesdays in September – 6 to 8:30pm
Using color pencil is much more than what kids do at school or in coloring books – it is truly a fine art! In this 4-part class, well-known artist and educator Phil Schorn will help you explore the beauty of drawing with colored pencil. You will learn everything you need to get started – from papers and pencils to putting down color, layering and blending.
Each session will introduce new techniques as you practice on three or four different renderings. Reference images will be provided.
The course is designed for beginners, but artists with experience are welcome to take part and work on a rendering of your choice. Phil will be available to assist you with your project.
Fee for the four-part course is $200, payable at registration
