Cindy Drost, painter and photographer, uses art as an expression of her evolutionary journey through life’s experiences. Creating artwork satisfies her inner peace and she invites the viewer to connect to that vision, taking them to unexpected places in their mind’s eye.
Her creative essence has been evident since she was a young girl. Inspired by a creative mother, Cindy was always making things and at age five painted her first painting. She attended classes at the Art Institute of Chicago and graduated from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas with a BFA in painting and printmaking.
After a long career in advertising Cindy has returned to her passion – creating! She works out of her “Come Fly with Me Studio” in Antioch, Illinois where she can be found painting Expressionistic landscapes, exploring and always learning!
