Soft Pastel Basics for Beginners – Wednesday August 6th – 6:30-8pm

Learn the basics of working with soft pastels as Tiffani Williams guides you through a series of exercises.  This 90 minute class is intended for beginners who are new to the medium, or those seeking a refresher on the basics.

Hands-on Exercises:

• Strokes
• Pressure
• Blending
• Layering

Demonstrations:

• Supplies
• Setting up your space
• Safety and health considerations
• Choosing the appropriate pastel hardnesses
• Paper types

Fee for the workshop is $40, payable at registration
