Suki Michelle Clark earned her BFA from Kansas City Art Institute in 1974 and has been drawing and painting ever since. From realism to abstract, portraiture to pencil work, she has yet to become loyal to one particular style, but usually tends toward whimsy.
Though recently obsessed with digital painting, she keeps her skills fresh with traditional media including acrylics and colored pencil and also enjoys the brain-challenge of advanced knitting and crochet.
Also an award-winning poet, Suki won First Place in the Faulkner Literary Competition, Poetry Division. Melding the art forms, she is currently illustrating her original poetry and working on a collection.
Retired from a long career as a medical transcriptionist, Suki now spends most of her time creating.
