As a life-long painter, Larry Lemm began his artistic journey with oils. He also dabbled in pastels and watercolor, but prefers now to use acrylics. Larry’s popular miniatures and his extra large artworks demonstrate his extraordinary range and dexterity.
Since retirement, Larry Lemm has been able to realize his passion for painting. Subjects include landscapes, wildlife, portraits, and snapshots of everyday life. His attention to detail gives viewers of his artwork a unique feeling of “being there.”
Larry takes the time to study a branch, a leaf or anything he wants to capture. Textures and shapes are very important and become embedded in his mind. Most paintings are pieces of memories of his past rolled into one, and he invites you share those memories.
