“Magical Felted Fairy” – Needle Felting Workshop – Ages 10 to Adult – Monday February 19th – 6:00 to 8:30 pm
Award-winning fabric artist Natasha Lehrer Lewis has a deep connection to the beauty and lifestyle of rural Americana. She spins, dyes and felts with fibers from local farms and from her own flock.
Join Natasha for a fun family workshop as students create a delightful fully-poseable fabric figurine using needle felting over a wire armature!
The Garden Pixie, Mermaid and Yarnmother shown are just a few examples of the many possible personalities you may choose to bring to life. Create your own angel, fairy or even a model of someone you know as a sweet gift. Design a cute base, complete with moss & rocks, and add those personal accessories to make it your own!
Cost of $45 includes all wools, silks, supplies & fittings.
