Becky Hiles is a watercolor artist and educator who holds a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Trinity International University. Alongside her teaching career, she has developed a passion for creating delicate and expressive floral watercolor paintings.
Inspired by the beauty of flowers throughout the changing seasons, Becky is drawn to the unique qualities of watercolor as a medium. “I love watching the water do the work and patiently waiting to see how a painting will turn out,” she says. She finds the process of watercolor painting peaceful, positive, and deeply rewarding.
Becky is grateful to be a member of the Antioch Fine Arts Foundation, which has provided her with a welcoming community and an opportunity to share her artwork with others.
Through her paintings, Becky hopes to bring viewers a sense of relaxation, joy, and lightheartedness. “My hope is that people enjoy looking at my work and that it gives them a relaxing and uplifting feeling.”
