I started experimenting with handmade paper about 5 years ago, at about the same time I became interested in pressing botanicals. The two seemed to go together perfectly, and creating botanical art with handmade paper and pressed botanicals has become my passion.

The handmade paper I create is made primarily from recycled papers, with the addition of plant fibers, flower petals, herbs, decorative fibers, or whatever else I can find to enhance the surface and the texture of the paper. Lately I've been experimenting with laminating and embossing techniques, as well as different ways to add pigments/colors.
