The Antioch
Fine Arts Foundation began in October 2001 as a center for interaction among Northern
Illinois and Southeastern Wisconsin artists. AFAF is a not-for-profit organization
whose function is to coordinate and promote area arts programs. Our goal is to foster
knowledge and appreciation of the arts in the local community.

*Gallery Exhibitions:
Any member can exhibit artwork in the gallery (generally two pieces). Artwork is
changed every two months. Exhibiting members are required to pay a flat hanging
fee of $5 per month plus a commitment of four hours per month of gallery sitting
time. That time can be divided into 2-hour segments.
Occasionally, a member
might be selected to have a special show in the White Room featuring several works.
The White Room shows usually include an opening reception.
Monthly AFAF Member Meetings are the second Tuesday of every
month at 6.30 pm.
Most of the meetings offer an interesting program or demonstration and refreshments.
The upcoming programs are listed in each newsletter. See News.
Membership Questions:
You can e-mail membership questions to the
AFAF Membership Director or call the Gallery at (847) 838-2274 Thursday through Sunday during gallery hours. At other times, messages may be left on
voicemail.
